About the company

DoorDash runs an app through which customers order meals from restaurants as well as groceries and other goods for delivery. Couriers work as independent contractors. The group includes Wolt in Europe and Deliveroo in the UK. Its main market is the US. As of Oct 11, 2026

Fact sheet (from the annual report) Miscellaneous business services · San Francisco, USA

Its main offerings include the DoorDash, Wolt and Deliveroo marketplaces as well as the Commerce Platform. The marketplaces connect merchants, consumers and couriers, called Dashers, and generate most of the revenue. From merchants the company usually receives a fee based on transaction size and also offers them advertising. Consumers usually pay a fixed delivery fee and a service fee; the membership programs DashPass, Wolt+ and Deliveroo Plus reduce these fees. The Commerce Platform helps merchants on their own channels, for example with delivery fulfillment under their brand and their own apps. Couriers are mostly independent contractors and are usually paid by active time or completed orders.

Scenarios

Timeframe 4 hours · As of Oct 27, 2026 · from the Elliott count in the analysis chart

Weighting Main scenario: ahead (3 of 4 guidelines, strong) · Alternative: behind (1 of 2, medium)

Weighting by guidelines met – not a probability.

Main scenario

ahead strong · 3 of 4 guidelines

As long as the 4-hour close stays below the end of Z, this applies: complex countermove upward (Combination W-X-Y-X-Z), Z complete – count points to falling prices.

Invalid if the 4-hour close is above the end of Z

Alternative

behind medium · 1 of 2 guidelines

If that breaks, the second reading no longer applies either: sharp countermove downward in three waves (Zigzag A-B-C), C in progress – then there is no valid count for now; the next candles will produce a new one.

Invalid if the 4-hour close is above the end of B
