As of Oct 11, 2026Fact sheet (from the annual report)Optics and laser technology · Milpitas, USAfull fact sheet
KLA supplies process control solutions for manufacturing wafers, masks, chips, chip packages and circuit boards. It was formed in 1997 as KLA-Tencor through the merger of KLA Instruments and Tencor Instruments. The Semiconductor Process Control segment offers inspection and metrology technology and software that help makers of chips, wafers and masks reach their target yield. The Specialty Semiconductor Process segment supplies equipment for vacuum deposition and etching, for example for MEMS, radio frequency chips and power semiconductors. The PCB and Component Inspection segment supplies technology with which electronics makers inspect and measure circuit boards, substrates and packaged chips. Revenue comes mainly from product sales and service contracts, mostly through its own direct sales force.

How the zone is formed
What is this? The price closes above the highest high of the last 52 weeks for the first time, on clearly higher volume. New 52-week highs are seen as a sign of strength.
Buy zone: the old high up to 1 ATR above it (retest). Stop: 1.5 ATR below the old high. Targets: 3 and 5 ATR above the old high.
The pattern is valid for at most 15 trading days and expires if the price falls below the stop. This is a calculated analysis, not a forecast and not a call to buy. Risk notice and investment advice
